Pendi began as a passion project by interior designer Natalie Pendigrast, who set out to create locally designed lighting using Sri Lankan materials and craftsmanship. What started with a few lamp designs and pop-up sales grew into a collaborative homeware brand.
We have now grown into a small team that is committed to fair working conditions, transparency and responsible production. Every maker we work with is treated with respect, paid fairly and given a voice within our process.
We release small-batch and limited-edition collections, producing more, only based on real demand. This keeps our pieces special and reduces waste.
From sourcing to production, we prioritise people and the environment. We collaborate with local artisans and ensure affordability never comes at the cost of ethical practices.
